I've visited and joined a few of these other sites also.
But I'm quite busy trying to get this vintage ski-doo scene going.
Not much time for me to chat all over.
I'm thinking of advertising on DooTalk for this year.

advertising at dootalk.com is a great idea mark.
advertising at vintagesleds.com could yield positive results also for you. _________________ '06 GTX 500ss

We are advertising many places this year.
And, we will be either sponsoring or attending 3 shows this year.
Did you know?
We already have ads running on vintagesleds.com
Look down the side of the classified section.
Here is the link.
http://www.vintagesleds.com/classifieds/classifieds.php
Getting the word out about the large line up of Ski-doo decals we carry is not easy.
DooTalk ads will help with younger yellow underwear fans.
60s 70s 80s and 90s plus another decade quickly coming.
By the way...
At what year do people consider a sled vintage?
2008 model are out now so 1988 is 20 years old.
Vintagesleds.com should start a new section for the late 80s.

you have a section for 80's, do you specifically need late 80's?
Are you going to make something that we can use as a signature, like a link to doo decals for sponsorship kinda like. _________________

All I'm saying is.
The vintage sled crowd should take a closer look at the decade 1980 through to 1990.
It was a decade of huge growth and technical advance.
And...
It won't be too long before a 1990 sled will be 20 years old.
When I visit an organized vintage motorcycle rally or race event.
They know how to bring young blood into their sport.
They are (vintage) racing all sorts of late 80s bikes now.
Ninjas, GSXRs FZRs and more.
The crowds love them going fast.
It's very cool.
Maybe I'm ahead of the curve with my opinion on this.
But you will see. In less than 10 years.
Some 80s and early 90s sleds will become collectable.
Places like www.vintagesleds.com should work on that decade.
It might get the younger guys into it.
It is healthy for the entire vintage sled market.
Old school guys might not like it, but time marches on with or with out em! _________________ Mark (mach9)

so are you sort of saying that vintage collectors/restorers should start buying newer 80's and 90's sleds instead of the 60's and 70's? If so i guess i agree with you on that. Im glad i have an 80. Its at the very beginning of when new technology was coming out.
i just re-read your post. I thought you were saying doo decals forums needs a spot for the 80's. Sorry, i missread that. Vintagesleds has a section for just all vintage sleds. They dont have a special section for a special year.
What is your name on vintagesleds? Mines someone11 _________________
