|
|
I'll get this started.
We don't know what these are for?
We have these 1978, 1979 style stripes that appear to be made from high bond material for lets say...
Maybe they go on a plastic fuel tank.
I even have a part number on a bag.
P/N 414513900
Note the stripe has a split (gap) at one end.
Maybe we have 2 LH or 2 RH pieces.
Becuase if these were symmetrical LH/RH we would assume the split would be at different ends to keep the dark orange color in the correct perspective.

These are 1984 Blizzard 9700 fuel tank stripes.
It's a little easier when you have a part number.
Watch for us to produce these decals and more for the 1983 and 1984 BLizzard 9700.

Yes, last weekend I had some luck finding a few items.
It won't be too long before we offer a complete solution for both 83 and 84 Blizzard 9700 models.
84 being more rare, back in the day most buyers were waiting for the formula sleds to come out.
Why buy a new 84 model when a model change was coming in 85 yes?
This thinking still applies today.
I've also heard that the 81 blizzard 9500 was a slow seller. (making it more rare)
Mainly due to the color change.
Seems buyers had difficulty with dark orange/black/chrome color scheme.
Although today it looks very nice on the snow.
