1972 Reflective Side Hood Stripes.

Soon we will be offering 2 versions for various models.
Why?

Too many clients have been asking for straight side stripes.
Just as they were originally mfg.
We said OK, our customers are always right.

We may not fully agree as we do know a thing or 2 about stripe design and how it lays down on compound surfaces.

Why did Ski-doo mfg. them straight back in 1972?
They thought it would be easy and that most of the stripes would lay down without a problem.
Plus it saves material costs.
Much of the time it was fine.

But just ask a guy installing the on the lower side hood stripe of a 75, 76 or 77 RV.
He'll curse Ski-doo for making straight stripes that need to fit around the bulge area.
Ha...
I can already see us going through the steps it would take to make contoured stripes work much better for these RV hoods.

Anyway...
We'll be able to move faster and offer 1972 reflective stripes for all models if we make them straight.
Just don't call on me if they are hard to keep level from a side view.
